Inspired by the Japanese art of decluttering and organising we bring you Marie Kondo's book, 'The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up', and a guide to minimalist decor.
The Emma&Chloè office just had a refurb so we're focusing on decluttering, reorganising and positive energies. We believe a healthy mind starts in a healthy environment. Fall is coming and the Netflix marathons are in full swing, why not swap the duvet for a cozy bed throw on a stylish sheepskin rug?

Step 1 Declutter:
The KonMari Method allows you to escape the cycle of clutter that returns time and time again. A tidy room is the result of discarding unnecessary, space consuming items. Don't hoard old invaluables with little sentiment, identify what you really want, and need to keep. What you choose to own and will impact your daily perspective and way of thinking.
Step 2 Categorise:
'Start off slowly and discard a few items a day'. Once you begin discarding unnecessary items, you can prepare storing the things the you need and love. Start with less valuable and sentimental items such as clothing and books. Reducing what you own in this order will gradually hone in your decision making skills when it comes to the larger pieces your hoarding.
1. Discard and declutter.
2. Categorise and organise.
The aim is to reduce clutter and take control. Surround yourself with things that serve purpose, bring you joy and positivity.
